Whilst many people believe that Dragon Villas is too remote for daily commuting into the city, there are many residents who are happy to undertake the daily commute to the the city in order that they and their family can enjoy the clean air, rural setting, fine homes and great community that make up Dragon Villas. Besides that, access to the city is improving all the time, and is much easier today than it was a few years ago, and will soon become easier still.

There ar e now several alternative routes into Beijing:

• Jingshun Highway on which the traffic flow has been greatly improved by the installation of a central divider that separates traffic and stops cyclists and pedestrians from crossing at random. The new Jing Cheng Highway has also drawn a lot of traffic away from the Jingshun Road which is now less conjested than it used to be.
• Airport Expressway (and Airport) can be accessed by turning south from the main road into Shunyi where it passes under the Airport North Expressway. It is possible to reach the 3rd and 2nd Ring Roads within 30 to 40 minutes via this route.
  
• Jing Cheng Expressway can be accessed from the 6th Ring Road or from Baima Road, a four lane highway that runs east-west just 1 km north of Dragon Villas.  Jing Cheng Expressway carries traffic to the north Third Ring Road. 
• Of course, there's always the Dragon Villas Shuttle Bus that provides 8 services per day to and from the Lido, Kempinski and China World Hotels.
• In 2011 there will be a new Light Rail Link (Metro Line #15 on attached map) that will run from the Summer Palace through Wang Jing, north along Jingshun Road past the new International Exhibition Centre, out to the centre of Shunyi, with a station less than five kilometers from Dragon Villas. Passengers will be able to change
  

Directions to get to Dragon Villas: Dragon Villas located 3 km north of Shunyi, on the eastern side of the Beijing-Miyun (Jingshun) road. When coming out from the city, Dragon Villas can best be accessed by turning right off Jing Shun Highway onto Baima Road immediately before the fly-over some five kilometers north of the 6th Ring Road.  Follow Baima Road eastwards for 1.5 km to the second traffic light and turn right again, then turn left into Dragon Villas at the next traffic light.
